This function is achieved using the Document Manager on the
printer. The Document Manager functionality is invoked by
issuing the ipu or ipuprint options to the filter.
The command utilize the Document Manager is "lp –o ipu
filename".
Factory Default Settings
The factory default setting can be specified with the following
options.
Description
Set the pitch to value. The range available is 0.44 to
99.99. The default is 12.00.
Set the pointsize to value. The range available is 4.00
to 999.75. The default is 10.00.
Set the orientation to value.
0 – Portrait orientation is used.
1 – Landscape orientation is used.
The default is 0.
Set the formlines to value. The range available is 5.00
to 128.00. The default is 12.00.
Set the symbolset to value. The range available is 1 to
999. The default is 341 (PC-8).
Set the factory default settings for pitch, point size,
orientation, formlines and symbolset.
OFF or off: n=0. Factory default settings are not
used.
ON or on: n=1. Factory default settings are used.
When dfactorydefault=on, only this option is send to the printer
which will revert to its' factory defaults. When other options are
set (dfactorydefault is off or not set), they are sent to the printer.
