3 For message logs, check the appropriate boxes to select
warning messages, errors messages, or both.
Sample Message log
By default Printer Utility displays both warning and error
messages.
Errors indicate conditions that prevent job processing, such
as a paper jam or out of toner.
Warnings indicate conditions that do not require immediate
attention, but may affect normal operation, such as out of
paper or low toner.
To sort the results, click a heading.
The page refreshes and a small triangle on the column
heading indicates the sort sequence. The direction of the
triangle indicates ascending or descending order. The default
sort order is ascending.
For example on a message log, clicking
messages in the order they occurred.
