    ADDING TONER When the toner cartridge becomes empty of toner, a message indicating the need to replace the toner cartridge will appear on the display. Replace the toner cartridge following the procedure below. The machine as shipped does not have a cartridge installed. Follow step 4 below for installing the first cartridge.
