STARTING
MOTOR
- Connect, by means of a cable,
the positive terminal of the
battery to the terminal of the
starting motor where the blue
cable is inserted, and the
negative terminal of the battery
as ground on the frame (F.11)
- The starting motor does not run:
replace it.
1° RELAIS (RELAIS WHICH
BREAKS THE STARTING
CIRCUIT, POSITIONED
UNDERNEATH THE
INSTRUMENT PANEL)
- Connect the tester (OHM) and
a battery (12V) to the terminals
of the relais' connector as follow
(F. 12):
- Battery terminal (+) →
yellow/white cable
- Battery terminal (-) →
blue/black cable
- Tester terminal (+) →
white/red (1) cable
- Tester terminal (-) →
white/red (2) cable
- No continuity: replace the relais
- Continuity: continue searching
(see electric diagram).
- replace the relais
- See section: "Engine stop", if
everything is O.K., see the side
stand switch section.
DEMARREUR
- Connecter, par un petit câble, la
cosse positive de la batterie à la
cosse du démarreur où le câble
bleu est inséré, et la cosse
négative de la batterie à masse
sur le châssis (F. 11)
- Le démarreur ne tourne pas : le
changer.
ER

- Connecter le testeur (en OHM)
et une batterie (12V) aux cosses
du connecteur du relais comme
suit (F.12) :
- Borne (+) batterie → câble
jaune/blanc
- Borne (-) batterie → câble
bleu/noir
- Borne (+) testeur → câble
blanc/rouge (1)
- Borne (-) testeur → câble
blanc/rouge (2)
- Pas de continuité : changer le relais
- Continuité : poursuivre la recherche
(voir schéma électrique).
- Voir chapitre : "Engine stop", si
OK, voir le chapitre de
l'interrupteur de la béquille
latérale.

ARRANQUE
- Conectar, mediante un cable, el
borne positivo de la batería al
borne del motor de arranque, dónde
está insertado el cable azul, y, a
masa, el borne negativo de la
batería al chasis (F. 11)
- El motor de arranque no gira:
sustituirlo.

- Conectar el tester (en posición
OHM) y una batería (12V) a los
bornes del conector del relé de la
manera siguiente (F. 12):
- Terminal (+) batería → cable
amarillo/blanco
- Terminal (-) batería → cable
azul/negro
- Terminal (+) tester → cable
blanco/rojo (1)
- Terminal (-) tester → cable
blanco/rojo (2)
- No hay continuidad: sustituir el relé
- Hay continuidad: continuar la
búsqueda (ver esquema eléctrico).
- Consultar el capítulo: "Engine
stop", si está OK, el capítulo del
interruptor del caballete lateral.
