THE LEFT/RIGHT
INDICATOR LIGHTS DO
NOT WORK
A) Check the light bulbs and bulb
sockets
B) Check the "Turn" indicator
switch
- Disconnect the 9-way connector
on the left-hand switch and
connect the OHM-tester as
follows (F. 22).
- Move the "Turn" indicator
switch to the left
- +ve tester terminal → brown wire
- -ve tester terminal → purple wire
- Move the "Turn" indicator
switch to the right
- +ve tester terminal → brown wire
- -ve tester terminal → green wire
- In both cases there must be
continuity
- No continuity : replace the left-
hand switch
- Continuity : keep searching.
C) Check the intermittent tension
(F. 23)
- Disconnect the intermittent
connector.
- Check the tension (tester 20V
DC):
- +ve tester terminal → blue wire
terminal of the intermittence.
- -ve tester terminal →
grounded to frame
- Turn the key switch to "ON":
- Tension = 0: there is a fault in
the circuit between the key
switch and the intermittent
connector. Repair the blue wire.
- Tension 12 volt: keep
searching.
D) Check the continuity of the
brown/black
-
cable between th terminal, which
-
is fitted into the intermittence
-
connector, and the terminal,
which is fitted into the nineway
connector of the left change-over
switch:
-
Continuity :
intermittence.
- No continuity : the brown/black
cable is broken. Repair (see
electric diagram).

A) Contrôler l'état de l'ampoule
et de la douille.
B) Vérification de l'interrupteur
"Turn"
- Déconnecter le connecteur à 9
voies du commutateur gauche et
connecter le testeur en OHM
comme suit (F. 22).
- Tourner la touche "Turn" à
gauche
- Borne (+) testeur → câble
marron
- Borne (-) testeur → câble
violet
- Tourner la touche "Turn" à
droite
- Borne (+) testeur → câble
marron.
- Borne (-) testeur → câble vert
- Dans les deux cas, il doit y
avoir continuité
- Pas de continuité : changer le
commutateur gauche
- Continuité : continuer la
recherche.
C) Vérification de la tension à l'in-
termittence (F. 23)
- Débrancher le connecteur de
l'intermittence.
- Vérifier la tension (testeur DC
20V):
- Borne (+) testeur → borne câble
bleu intermittent.
- Borne (-) testeur → à la
masse sur le cadre.
- Clé commutateur sur "ON":
- Tension = 0: le circuit entre le
commutateur clé et le con-
necteur intermittence est défec-
tueux. Réparez le câble bleu.
- Tension12 volt: poursuivre la
recherche.
D) Vérifier la continuité du câblet
marron/noire
entre le cosse introduite dans le
connecteur
intermittent
introduitedans le connecteur à
neuf voies du commutateur
gauche:
- Continuité: changer l'allumage
replace

intermittent.
- Pas de continuité: câble marron/
noir interrompu. Réparer (voir
schéma électrique).

DIRECCION NO FUNCIONA
A) Verificar el estado de la lámpa-
ra y del portalámpara.
B) Control interruptor "Turn"
- Desconectar el conector de 9
vías del conmutador izquierdo
y conectar el tester en OHM
como sigue (F. 22).
- Poner el botón "Turn" a la
izquierda
- Terminal (+) tester → cable mar-
rón
- Terminal (-) tester → cable vio-
leta
- Poner el botón "Turn" a la de-
recha
- Terminal (+) tester → cable mar-
rón
- Terminal (-) tester → cable ver-
de
- En ambos casos debe haber
continuidad
- No hay continuidad : cambiar el
conmutador izquierdo
- Hay continuidad : seguir con la
averiguación.
C) Control tensión de intermitencia
(F. 23)
- Desconectar el conector de la in-
termitencia.
- Verificar la tensión (tester DC
20V):
- Terminal (+) tester → terminal
cable azul intermitencia.
- Terminal (-) tester → a masa
en el chasis
- Llave conmutador en "ON":
- Tensión = 0: el circuito entre
conmutador llave y conector in-
termitencia está estropeado.
Reparar el cable azul.
- Tensión 12 volt: seguir con la
averiguación.
D) Controlar la continuidad del
cable marrón/negro
entre terminal conectado en el
cenector de la intermitencia y
terminal conectado en el
conector de neuve vías del
conmutador izquierdo:
- Hay continuidad : sostituir la
itermitencia.
- No hay continuidad: cable marrón/
negro interrumpido. Reparar (ver
esquema eléctrico
