CHECK THE 2° RELAIS
(STARTING RELAIS,
POSITIONED UNDERNEATH
THE FOOTBARD)
- By using a cable create a bridge
between the two blue cables
inserted into the connector of the
starting relais.
- The starting motor does not run:
- Check continuity (OHM-tester) of
the blue cable between battery
→ → → → → relais, and of the blue cable
between relais → → → → → starting motor.
- Find out where the damage is and
repair it (see wiring diagram)
(F. 13).
- The starting motor runs:
A) Check tension in the red cable:
- Connect the tester in DC 20V:
- Tester terminal (+) → red cable
- Tester terminal (-) → terminal
grounded to frame.
- Turn the commutator key on
"ON".
- Set on the brake lever (in the back
or front of the motorcycle).
- The measured voltage must be
12 Volt.
- Out of specification: if the stop
switch works, the red cable is
damaged. Find out the real point
where the damage is and repair it
(see wiring diagram).
- According to the specification:
continue searching.
B) Check ground in the white/red
cable of the 2° relais
- Connect the tester in OHM:
- Tester terminal (+) → white/red
cable 2° relais
- Tester terminal (-) → terminal
grounded to frame.
- Turn the commutator key on
"ON".
- Position the "engine stop" switch
on the symbol
.
- Disconnect the side stand
- Press the "start" button
- Continuity: replace the starting
relais.
- No continuity: continue searching.

CONTRÔLE DU 2
(RELAIS DE DEMARRAGE
POSITIONNE SOUS LE
TAPIS DU REPOSE-PIED)
- Créer un pont avec un petit câble
entre les deux câbles bleus
insérés dans le connecteur du
relais de démarrage.
- Ie démarreur ne tourne pas :
- Contrôler la continuité (testeur en
OHM) du câble bleu entre batterie
→ → → → → relais, et du câble bleu entre
relais → → → → → démarreur.
- Trouver lequel des deux est
interrompu et réparer (voir schéma
électrique) (F. 13).
- Ie démarreur tourne :
A) Contrôle de tension au câble
rouge :
- Connecter le testeur en DC 20V:
- Borne (+) testeur → câble rouge
- Borne (-) testeur → cosse à
masse châssis.
- Tourner la clef du démarreur sur
"ON".
- Actionner la poignée de frein
(arrière ou avant).
- La tension trouvée doit être de
12 Volts.
- Valeurs non conforme aux
indications : si l'interrupteur stop
marche, le câble rouge est
interrompu. Trouver le point
interrompu et réparer (voir schéma
électrique).
- Conforme aux indications :
poursuivre la recherche
B) Contrôle de masse au câble
blanc/rouge du 2
e
relais
- Connecter le testeur en OHM:
- Borne (+) testeur → câble
blanc/rouge 2° relais
- Borne (-) testeur → cosse à
masse châssis.
- Tourner la clef du démarreur sur
"ON".
- Mettre le bouton "engine stop" sur
le symbole
.
- Enlever la béquille latérale
- Appuyer sur la touche "start"
- Continuité : changer le relais de
démarrage.
- Pas de continuité : poursuivre la
recherche.

CONTROL 2° RELE (RELE DE
ARRANQUE SITUADO
DEBAJO DE LA
PLATAFORMA REPOSAPIES)
- Crear un puente con un cable entre
los dos cables azules insertados
en el conector del relé de
arranque.
- El motor de arranque no gira:
- Verificar la continuidad (tester en
posición OHM) del cable azul entre
batería → → → → → relé, y del cable azul
entre relé → → → → → motor de arranque.
- Averiguar cual de los dos está
interrumpido y reparar (véase
esquema eléctrico) (F. 13).
- El motor de arranque gira:
A) Control tensión al cable rojo:
- Conectar el tester en DC 20V:
- Terminal (+) tester → cable rojo.
- Terminal (-) tester → terminal
en masa.
- Girar la llave del conmutador
hasta "ON".
- Accionar la palanca del freno
(trasero y delantero).
- La tensión medida tiene que
corresponder a 12 voltios.
- Valores
especificados: si el interruptor de
stop funciona, el cable rojo está
interrumpido. Localizar el punto
interrumpido y reparar (véase
esquema eléctrico). Reparar (ver
esquema eléctrico).
- Valores iguales a los especificados:
continuar la búsqueda.
B) Control masa al cable blanco/
rojo del 2° relé
- Conectar el tester en OHM:
- Terminal (+) tester → cable
blanco/rojo 2° relais
- Terminal (-) tester → terminal
en masa.
- Girar la llave del conmutador
hasta "ON".
- Colocar el botón "engine stop" en
el símbolo
- Soltar el caballete lateral
- Pulsar el botón "start"
- Hay continuidad: sustituir el relé
de arranque.
- No hay continuidad: continuar la
búsqueda.
