THE TAIL-LIGHT AND THE
INSTRUMENT PANEL
LIGHTING SYSTEM DO NOT
WORK
A) Check light and/or light holder
B) Check switch of the right com-
mutator
- Disconnect the 6-way connector
of the right commutator (F. 39)
- Connect the tester in OHM:
- Tester terminal (+) → blue cable
- Tester terminal (-) → pink cable
- Position the light switch on the
symbol (
)
- No continuity: replace the right
commutator
- Continuity: the pink cable among
the right commutator, the
instrument panel connector, and
the harness of the rear light is
damaged (F. 40)
- Find out where the damage is
(OHM-tester) and repair it.

A) Contrôler les ampoules et/ou
les douilles
B) Contrôle de l'interrupteur com-
mutateur droit
- Déconnecter le connecteur à 6
voies du commutateur droit (F. 39)
- Connecter le testeur en OHM:
- Borne (+) testeur → câble blue
- Borne (-) testeur → câble rose
- Positionner l'interrupteur des feux
sur le symbole (
- Pas de continuité : changer le
commutateur droit
- Continuité : le câble rose entre le
commutateur droit, le connecteur
du tableau de bord, et le câblage
de la lanterne arrière est
interrompu (F. 40)
- Trouver l'interruption (testeur en
OHM) et réparer.
