Configuring logging
To delete a Syslog server from the Syslog server table, type the clear logging server
command followed by the IP address of the Syslog server you want to delete.
G350-001(super)# clear logging server 147.2.3.66
Done!
To display the status of a Syslog server, type the show logging server condition
command, followed by the IP address of the Syslog server. If you do not specify an IP address,
the command displays the status of all Syslog servers defined for the G250/G350. As shown,
the command displays whether the server is enabled or disabled, and lists all filters defined on
the server.
G350-001(super)# show logging server condition 147.2.3.66

The Syslog sink has the following default settings:
Severity — warning
Facility — local 7

Syslog message format

Syslog messages are arranged chronologically and have the following format:

The message provides the following information:
A priority (
severity level.
A header (

application being logged, the severity level, and the message text.
