7.2 Countermeasures

Symptoms
Forced-zero is not executed
when the U [UP] Key is
pressed.
The display remains on "-----"
after the power is turned ON.
The comparative output does not
turn OFF even if the
measurement value returns to
the normal range.
Cannot move to the advanced
functions.
Inspection details
Is forced-zero protect enabled?
Is the "startup compensation
timer" setting too long?
Is the HOLD input still ON?
Is the RESET input still ON?
Is the hysteresis setting too
large?
Is the "output refresh stop" set?
Is the operation protected?
7.2 Countermeasures
Countermeasure
Set the forced-zero protect to
OFF (Enable) in the protect
level.
The "startup compensation
timer" can be set up to 99.9 s.
Change the setting to an
appropriate value.
Turn OFF the HOLD input.
If the HOLD input remains ON
and the power is turned ON, the
display remains on "-----"
while the HOLD input remains
ON.
Turn OFF the RESET input.
Change the setting to an
appropriate value.
Turn OFF the "output refresh
stop."
