Error remedy method
1.
Eject a cartridge.
2.
Insert again the ejected cartridge.
•
When no error occurs, use the unit as
it is.
•
When an error occurs, go to step 3) in
Measures.
3.
Insert another cartridge.
•
In the case no error occurs:
The ejected cartridge is likely to be
faulty.
•
In the case the error occurs:
Drive trouble is likely.
4.
Check the carry loader assembly installation
status.
Note
If the carry loader assembly is abnormally
installed, disc chucking is not performed
successfully and focus servo may fail.
1.
Eject a cartridge.
2.
Insert again the ejected cartridge.
•
When no error occurs, use the unit as
it is.
•
When an error occurs, go to step 3) in
Measures.
3.
Insert another cartridge.
•
In the case no error occurs:
The ejected cartridge is likely to be
faulty.
•
In the case the error occurs:
Drive trouble is likely.
4.
Check the carry loader assembly installation
status.
Note
If the carry loader assembly is abnormally
installed, disc chucking is not performed
successfully and focus servo may fail.
1.
Eject a cartridge.
2.
Startup the maintenance menu and perform
SLIDER AUTO TEST.
•
When no error occurs, use the unit as
it is.
•
When an error occurs, go to step 3) in
Measures.
3.
Check the main base assembly installation
status and the carry loader assembly instal-
lation status.
4.
Check the flexible flat cable connection be-
tween the main base assembly and the
DR-683 board.
If this problem still remains, any abnormality may
be present in the slider of the optical block assem-
bly (OP-0) or the DR-683 board may be defective.
