Note
• Do not reuse the lens cleaner.
• Be sure to use the lens cleaner. Do not use the cotton swab, etc.
Tip
When the lens cleaner is used up, order the lens cleaner (bag).
Lens cleaner (bag): part number A-2203-499-A
• PDW-U1 service software (PDW Terminal)
• Tweezers
• Pure water
Note
Be sure to use the pure water to prevent the adhesion of impurities contained in the liquid and to increase the
removing efficiency of the contamination on the lens. Do not use the tap water (drinking water) and cleaning liquid.
Preparation
Acquire "OPC RESULT" in the following procedure.
Note
• When cleaning this unit in which the 6F-Exx error has occurred, the preparation is not required. Perform the cleaning
according to the procedure.
• Even if an error has occurred during the process of "OPC RESULT acquisition procedure" and "OPC RESULT"
cannot be acquired, perform the cleaning according to the procedure.
1.
Prepare the recordable ODC3300R.
2.
Connect this unit to PC.
3.
Turn on the power.
Note
Do not turn off the power until the acquisition of OPC RESULT is completed.
4.
Insert ODC3300R and check that the cartridge is recognized normally by Optical Disc Archive Utility.
5.
Record the several MB file once.
6.
Eject ODC3300R.
7.
Display the maintenance menu referring to
ODS-D280U/ODS-D280F
"6-2. Starting the Maintenance
Menu".
