Code Description
34-750 The acceleration sensor
(IC202 or IC203: BI-353
board (ODS-D280U) /BF-92
board (ODS-D280F)) detec-
ted an abnormality.
34-790 An inconsistency between
the state of the lid sensor
(PH1) on the SM-49 board
and the movement of the lid
mechanism was detected.
*1: For the ODS-D280F, perform "Eject" operation from the PC (or host device) or press the EJECT button on the rear of the drive to eject
the cartridge.
Note
EJECT button operation or power off/on operation may generate another alarm code.

Error remedy method
1. Press the EJECT button to eject the car-
tridge. *1
If the cartridge is not ejected, take the fol-
lowing measures.
• Turn off and on the drive. Press the
EJECT button after startup to eject the
cartridge.
• If the cartridge is not ejected even after
this operation, eject it manually.
2. Turn off the drive and install the drive at a
vibration-free location.
3. Turn on the drive and check whether a car-
tridge can be successfully inserted.
If this problem still remains, go to the next
measure.
4. Startup the maintenance menu and perform
ACCELERATION SENSE.
• If abnormal, the BI-353 board (ODS-
D280U) or BF-92 board (ODS-
D280F) may be a problem with the
substrate.
1. Press the EJECT button to eject the car-

tridge.
If the cartridge is not ejected, take the fol-
lowing measures.
• Turn off and on the drive. Press the
EJECT button after startup to eject the
cartridge.
• If the cartridge is not ejected even after
this operation, eject it manually.
2. Startup the maintenance menu and perform
LOADER SWITCH.
• When this operation fails,
- Check whether the lid is half
open.
When the lid is half open, check
the front plate assembly instal-
lation status and the select loader
assembly installation status
- Check the connections flexible
flat cable between SM-49 board
and SM-48 board.
