the cartridge.
Note
EJECT button operation or power off/on operation may generate another alarm code.

Error remedy method
1.
Acquire the drive/driver log.
2.
Turn off and on the power.
3.

Eject a cartridge.
If the cartridge is not ejected, take the fol-
lowing measures.
Turn off and on the drive. Press the
EJECT button after startup to eject the
cartridge.
If the cartridge is not ejected even after
this operation, eject it manually.
4.
Insert the same cartridge.
If the cartridge cannot be inserted, turn
off and on the drive and then insert the
cartridge again.
If this error occurs again, take the fol-
lowing actions.
5.
When parts have been replaced, check their
installation status.
6.
Upgrade the drive firmware to the latest ver-
sion.
If the same error occurs repeatedly,
send the acquired drive/driver log to
your local Sony Sales Office/Service
Center.

Acquire the drive/driver log.
3.
Turn off the drive.
4.
Turn on the drive and insert the same car-
tridge.
When no error occurs, use the unit as
it is
