Differential locks
Disengaging the differential locks
You can disengage the differential locks in
reverse sequence (3, 2, 1).
To disengage both differential locks simul-
taneously:
Press switch 1.
Yellow engagement indicator lamps 4
go out. Red function indicator lamps 5
go out when the differential locks are
disengaged.
ABS is reactivated after driving normal-
ly for about three seconds.
The - and v warning lamps in
the instrument cluster go out.
The transfer case differential locks are
disengaged.

If red function indicator lamps 5 do not go
out when the differential locks are disen-
gaged:
Observe the road and traffic condi-
tions.
Make light steering movements with
the vehicle while driving.
Red function indicator lamps 5 go out.
