Cleaning the windows
!
Do not use a dry cloth, abrasive material,
solvent or solvent-based cleaning agent to clean
the inside of the windows. Clean the inside of the
windows with a moist cloth or a commercially
available window cleaning agent. Do not touch
the inside of the rear or side windows with hard
objects, e.g. ice scrapers or a ring. You could
otherwise damage the windows, the rear window
heating or the aerial on the rear window.
i
Anti-glare film retrofitted to the inside of the
windows can interfere with radio or mobile
phone reception, particularly if it is conductive or
metallic coated film. Information about anti-glare
film can be obtained from any Mercedes-Benz
Service Centre.
Cleaning the headlamps
Clean the headlamp lenses with a wet
sponge.
nur für internen Gebrauch
i
Only use windscreen washer fluid that is
suitable for plastic lamp lenses. Unsuitable wind-
screen washer fluid may cause damage to the
plastic lenses of the headlamps. Therefore, do
not use a dry cloth, abrasive material, solvent or
solvent-based cleaning agent. You could scratch
or damage the surface of the lenses.
Cleaning plastic trims
!
Do not use dry, rough or hard cloths and do
not scrub. Otherwise you could scratch or dam-
age the surfaces.
Light soiling: wipe plastic parts with a
damp, lint-free cloth (e.g. a microfibre
cloth). Use a low-foaming grease sol-
vent (e.g. washing-up liquid) diluted in
water as a cleaning agent.
