Automatic car wash
If the vehicle is very dirty, prewash it be-
fore you drive into the car wash.

Make sure that the car wash is suitable for
the size of the vehicle. Fold in the exterior mir-
rors before using an automatic car wash. Other-
wise, they could be damaged.
After using an automatic car wash, wipe off
wax from the windscreen and the wiper
blades. This prevents smears and reduces
wiping noise which can be caused by resi-
due on the windscreen.

Make sure that the mirrors are fully folded
out after using the automatic car wash. They
could otherwise vibrate.
High-pressure cleaners

Do not use a high-pressure cleaner with
round-spray jets to clean the tyres. You could
otherwise damage the tyres.

Do not direct the jet directly at:
Door joints
Electrical components
Electrical connectors
Seals
Observe the information provided by
the equipment manufacturer regarding
the distance to be maintained between
the vehicle and the high-pressure
cleaner.
Move the high-pressure cleaner nozzle
around when cleaning your vehicle.

Do not clean the vehicle in an automatic car
wash.
Do not clean the tarpaulin using a high-pressure
cleaner.
Do not use sharp objects to remove snow or ice.
If the tarpaulin is only lightly soiled, rinsing
off/spraying it with clear water is suffi-
cient.
Do not use:
Petrol or diesel
Thinner
Tar or stain remover
Other organic solvents
Frequent cleaning impairs the dirt-repel-
lent properties of the impregnated tarpau-
lin.

Cover the tarpaulin with a suitable mantle if
you are leaving the vehicle parked in the open for
any length of time.
