Open the side vent halfway.
Direct the side vents towards the side
windows.
Slide the temperature controller to the
right.
Cooling mode
You can cool your vehicle in warm weather
using the basic setting for cooling mode.

For virtually draught-free ventilation, move
the centre air vent sliders to a central position
and set the side air vent adjusting tabs to the
horizontal.
Close the doors and side windows.
Press the upper section of the blower
switch once.
The switch is set to ventilation level I.
Slide the air-distribution control to the
right.
Turn the thumbwheel on the centre air
vent down as far as possible.
Move the slider on the side vent as far
as possible to the left or right.
Turn the temperature controller fully
anti-clockwise to the blue dot.
Turn the temperature controller on the
air-conditioning system clockwise.
Ventilation mode
For uniform ventilation in warm weather
you can select the basic setting for ventila-
tion mode.

If sunlight has heated the vehicle considera-
bly, ventilate it briefly before commencing a jour-
ney.
Press the upper section of the blower
switch once.
The switch is set to ventilation level I.

Heating and air-conditioning system*
Slide the air-distribution control to the
right.
Turn the thumbwheel on the centre air
vent up as far as possible.
Move the slider on the side vent as far
as possible to the left or right.
Turn the temperature controller anti-
clockwise to the blue dot.
Maximum heating output
Make the following settings when you wish
to heat up your vehicle rapidly.
Turn the temperature controller fully
clockwise to the red dot.
Move the temperature controller slight-
ly anti-clockwise when you have
reached the desired temperature.

Only use this setting briefly. The battery will
otherwise be overloaded.
