Battery
Battery installation location
Your vehicle is equipped with three batter-
ies:
The 12V battery is behind a cover under
the fuse box in the centre console.

Two 12V starter batteries are in the engine
compartment.

Disconnecting the battery

When the battery is disconnected:
You do not have any brake boosting ef-
fect. You will require more effort to brake
and the brake pedal travel will be longer.
If necessary, you will have to depress the
brake pedal with maximum force.
The selector lever is locked in position P.

Always disconnect the starter batteries in
the order described below. Never swap the
terminal clamps. You could otherwise damage
the vehicle electronics.
