Faulty alternator
Torn poly-V-belt
Faulty wiring

Suggested solutions
Have the filter cartridge renewed at a qualified specialist
workshop.
The air filter drain hoses must be cleaned ( page 136).
Suggested solutions
Stop immediately, paying attention to road and traffic condi-
tions, and check the poly-V-belt.
If it is torn: do not drive any further. Consult the nearest qual-
ified specialist workshop.
If it is undamaged: have the vehicle examined immediately
at a qualified specialist workshop.
