Lights
Blackout lighting setting S0: turn
light switch 2 to S0.
Complete darkness. The vehicle light-
ing and the horn are switched off.
Blackout lighting setting S1: turn
light switch 2 to S1.
Only blackout tail lamps. The convoy
lamp* is switched on. The blackout
brake lamp is operational.
Blackout lighting setting S2: turn
light switch 2 to S2.
Only blackout headlamps. The blackout
headlamps are switched on.
Blackout lighting setting S3: turn
light switch 2 to S3.
Forward and rearward-facing blackout
lighting. The blackout headlamps,
blackout tail lamps and convoy lamp*
are switched on. The blackout brake
lamp is operational.

The following functions are switched off in
all blackout lighting settings:
Turn signals, hazard warning lamps
Horn
Interior lighting
Illumination of switches and instrument
cluster
To switch the blackout lighting off:
press light switch 2 in and turn it to 0.
Front foglamps*

Risk of accident
If you suspect that you might encounter fog,
set the light switch to B before you start
the journey. You could otherwise cause an
accident due to the headlamps briefly being
switched off.
The switch is located on the upper section
of the centre console.

Make sure that the B dipped-beam
headlamps are switched on.
To switch on: press the upper section
of the switch.
The ‡ indicator lamp on the control
panel in the centre console lights up.
To switch off: press the lower section
of the switch.
The ‡ indicator lamp goes out.
