Risk of injury
Do not leave children unsupervised in the
vehicle, even if they are secured in a child
restraint system. The children could:
injure themselves on parts of the vehicle
be seriously or even fatally injured by
prolonged exposure to extreme heat or
cold
If children open a door, they could:
injure themselves and others in doing so
get out of the vehicle and injure themselves
or be injured by vehicles passing

Child-proof locks
The rear doors and the rear door in the
long-wheelbase van and station wagon are
fitted with child-proof locks. If a rear door
is secured by the child-proof lock:
you will not be able to open it from the
inside
you can only open it from the outside if
the vehicle is unlocked
The locking knobs are at the top on the in-
ner side of the door.

Risk of accident
Activate the child-proof locks for the rear
doors when children are travelling in the ve-
hicle. The children could otherwise open the
doors or windows while the vehicle is in mo-
tion, thereby endangering themselves and
other persons.

To activate: slide the locking lever
downwards 2 using a suitable imple-
ment
To release: slide the locking lever up-
wards 1 using a suitable implement.
