Pass the tensioning straps cross-wise
over the load as illustrated.
Spread the load evenly between the
lashing eyelets.
If using tensioners: do not overload the
lashing eyelets.
Luggage compartment enlargement
You can fold the rear bench seat forwards
to enlarge the luggage compartment. The
following variations are possible:
Folding the backrest forward
Folding the rear bench seat fully for-
wards

Risk of injury
Do not carry heavy or hard objects inside
the vehicle or in the luggage compartment
unless they are secured.
Otherwise, if you brake sharply, suddenly
change direction or have an accident, ob-
jects could be thrown around and injure you
and others.

Always drive with the tailgate closed. Ex-
haust fumes could otherwise enter the vehi-
cle interior.
