Fire extinguisher*

Have the fire extinguisher refilled after each
use and have it examined every one to two years.
Otherwise, it could fail in an emergency.
Observe the legal requirements in all countries
concerned.
Vehicles with stowage boxes*
The fire extinguisher is located at the rear
under the driver's seat.

Push retainer 2.
The retainer opens.
Remove fire extinguisher 1 by
handle 3.

The fire extinguisher is located at the rear
under the driver's seat.

Fold the driver's seat forwards
( page 59).
Pull fire extinguisher 3 in the direction
of the arrow by handle 2 and out of re-
tainer 1.
Spare wheel
The spare wheel is under a spare wheel
cover on the outside of the tailgate.
Remove the spare wheel cover.
