Preface
Target group
This document is intended for commissioning personnel.
The plant or system is installed, connected, and ready to start. For the following steps, e.g.
configuring the individual components, the Commissioning Manual contains all the necessary
information or at least references.
Note regarding the General Data Protection Regulation
Siemens observes standard data protection principles, in particular the principle of privacy by
design. For this product, this means: this product does not process / store any personal data,
only technical functional data (e.g. time stamps). If a user links this data with other data (e.g. a
shift schedule) or stores personal data on the same storage medium (e.g. hard drive) and thus
establishes a link to a person or persons, then the user is responsible for ensuring compliance
with the relevant data protection regulations.

SINUMERIK ONE Commissioning Tool
If you use SINUMERIK NC in conjunction with a SINAMICS S210 drive, you can commission
and parameterize the Safety Integrated Functions integrated in the drive only via the TIA Portal
application "Startdrive".
After uploading the configuration from the TIA Portal to the control system, the SINUMERIK
ONE Commissioning Tool is mainly used to manually enter the machine data into the control
system.
The handling of the SINUMERIK ONE Commissioning Tool has been derived from
SINUMERIK Operate.
