while the control system is running up

Resetting the NC and PLC separately

General reset of the NC
Carry out the following actions to perform an NC general reset:
1. Turn the NCK commissioning switch on the interface front to position 1.
2. Initiate a power-on reset by switching the control system off and on or by pressing the reset
button.
The system is restarted with the request for a general reset of the NC.
3. After the system has run up, turn the NCK commissioning switch back to position 0.
Effect:
– The number 6 and a flashing point are output on the 7-segment display on the front of the
– The RUN LED lights up.
After an error-free run-up, the NC is in the following state:
● The NC is in cyclic operation.
● The static memory of the NC is deleted.
● The machine data is preassigned standard values.
Resetting the PLC to its factory settings
Perform the following actions to reset the PLC:
1. Press the power-on or reset key.
The MCU is restarted with the request for an PLC reset.
2. Wait until LEDs RUN and ERR alternate between flashing green and yellow.
3. Keep the toggle switch pressed in the MRES position.
4. Wait until the RUN LED remains permanently lit yellow.
5. Within approx. 4 seconds, move the toggle switch into the STOP position and then back to
MRES.
The RUN LED flashes for approx. 3 seconds at high frequency.
6. Move the toggle switch back into the STOP position.
The factory settings of the PLC have been restored.
7. Move the PLC toggle switch back to RUN.
