Port 4

Port 4 is a general-purpose I/O port that also serves as peripheral I/O. Each pin can be
switched between peripheral and port operation in bit units. This section principally
describes the port functions when operating as a general-purpose I/O port.
The section describes the port structure and pins, the pin block diagram, and the port
register for port 4.
n Structure of Port 4
Port 4 consists of the following two components:
General-purpose I/O pins/peripheral I/O pins (P40 to P47/SI2)
Port 4 data register (PDR4)
n Port 4 Pins
Port 4 consists of eight I/O pins of a hysteresis input and N-ch open-drain output type.
As P44/BZ to P47/SI2 also serve as peripheral I/O, these pins cannot be used as general-
purpose I/O ports when the corresponding peripheral is used.
