DS0 Mapping

DS0 mapping is only applicable on pseudowires configured for CESoP mode.
NOTICE
When switching from SAToP mode to CESoP mode, a DS1/E1
framing format must first be provisioned. When switching from
CESoP to SAToP mode all DS0 mapping must first be removed.
The PWE3M has a non-blocking DS0 cross-connect between the backplane DS1/E1s and
pseudowires. In T1 mode, backplane DS1s and pseudowires carry 24 DS0s. In E1 mode,
backplane E1s and pseudowires carry 31 DS0s.
The pseudowire DS0 timeslot capacity is configured in the CESoP Payload Size provisioning
option. DS0s mapped to timeslots outside of the provisioned capacity are ignored. Unmapped
timeslots carry the DS0 IDLE signal (0x7E).
