Use this Installation and Turn-Up procedure for the following modules:

OC-3 tributary modules provide an OC-3 interface to the OPTI-6100, and retime and map
3×STS-1 or one STS-3c to the OMM modules.
The O12TME provides an OC-12 tributary interface to the OPTI-6100, and retimes and maps
12×STS-1 or 4×STS-3c to the OMM modules.

OC-3 and OC-12 tributary modules plug directly into any MS slot in any chassis.
NOTICE
The O12TME only operates with OC-48 OMM modules. Install the
O12TME in an MX or SMX chassis equipped with the OMM48 or in
an LMX chassis equipped with the OMM48L.
