Table 49. NSAP Area Address Menu Options

Function
This specifies the NSAP Area Address format, determined by the
equipment type at the other end of the DCC link.
The available options are as follows:
ISO DCC (Data Country Code): This is the default format. Per
GR-253-CORE, ISO DCC is a fixed-length field containing 26
hexadecimal characters, starting with a prefix of
Lucent, Alcatel, and Tellabs equipment support this format.
The default for this format is
Private: This format is a fixed-length field containing 6
hexadecimal characters starting with a prefix of
equipment supports this format.
The default Area Address for this format is
This option sets the Routing Domain, which identifies a part of a
subnetwork contained within an Administrative Domain, sharing
a single routing protocol.
The Routing Domain format varies with the NSAP Area Address
Format (above):
If Format is ISO DCC, the Routing Domain is four hexidecimal
characters, with a range of valid values from

This option sets the Routing Area, which is a subdivision of a
Routing Domain. The protocol used in the Routing Area must be
the same as that used in the Routing Domain.
