Function
This option toggles Password Complexity on/off.
Yes: Options 2–6 in this menu are active.

No: No Password Complexity (default). Options 2–6 are ignored.
♦
This option sets the Password Complexity minimum length.
The valid range is 6–15 characters, with a default of 8.
This option toggles the Password Complexity uppercase letter
requirement.
Yes: Passwords require at least one uppercase letter (default).
♦
♦ No: Passwords do not require an uppercase letter.
This option toggles the Password Complexity lowercase letter
requirement.
Yes: Passwords require at least one lowercase letter (default).
♦
♦ No: Passwords do not require a lowercase letter.
This option toggles the Password Complexity numeric
character requirement.
Yes: Passwords require at least one number (default).
♦
♦ No: Passwords do not require a number.
This option toggles the Password Complexity "special"
character requirement.
Yes: Passwords require at least one special character (default).
♦
No: Passwords do not require a special character.

Accepted special characters are as follows:
! @ # $ % ^ * ( ) _ - = + | { } [ ] : ; ' < > / , . or "
This option specifies if a password must be entered in the precise
case in which it was first set.
The default value is determined as follows:
If Activate Password Complexity is set to No, this option defaults

to No.
♦ If Activate Password Complexity is set to Yes, this option defaults
to Yes.
If Activate Password Complexity is switched from No to Yes, this

option is forced to Yes.
♦ If Activate Password Complexity is switched from Yes to No, this
option is not forced to No.
