Table 30. Ethernet Interface Menu Options

Function
This option enables/disables the Ethernet interface.
Select Enable (default) or Disable.
This option sets the IP address for the Ethernet interface.
This option sets the Ethernet subnet mask, as specified by
the local LAN administrator.
This option sets the Ethernet gateway, as specified by the
local LAN administrator.
This option sets the indication mode for the SCM
The available options are as follows:
Link: The LED lights solid green if there is a connection to
the port. This is the default.
Link + Activity: The LED flashes green when there is
activity on the port connection.
This option sets the speed of the Ethernet interface.
The available options are as follows:
Auto: The SCM determines the best speed for the interface.
This is the default.
10-BT: 10Base-T
100-BT: 100Base-TX
This option sets the crossover correction for the Ethernet
interface, a setting which is governed by the type of cable
employed for the connection.
The available options are as follows:
Auto: The SCM determines if crossover correction is
required. This is the default.
Straight (MDI): No crossover required.
Crossover (MDIX): Crossover is required.
