Clear the HITEMP Alarm
SUMMARY STEPS
1. View the temperature displayed on the system LCD front panel. For example, the front panel is illustrated
in
2. Verify that the environmental temperature of the room is not abnormally high.
3. If the room temperature is not abnormal, physically ensure that nothing prevents the fan-tray assembly
from passing air through the system shelf.
4. If airflow is not blocked, physically ensure that blank faceplates fill the system shelf empty slots. Blank
faceplates help airflow.
5. If faceplates fill the empty slots, determine whether the air filter needs replacement. Refer to the
Clean, and Replace the Reusable Air Filter, on page 457
6. If the fan does not run or the alarm persists, complete the
procedure.
DETAILED STEPS
Step 1
