When using current inputs, voltage input terminals must be short-circuited
with current input terminals.
2. Expansion I/O Connecting Cable
Connected to the CPU Unit or Expansion Unit expansion connector. The
cable is attached to the Analog Input Unit and cannot be removed.
Do not touch the cables during operation. Static electricity may cause operat-
ing errors.
3. Expansion Connector
Connected to the next Expansion Unit or Expansion I/O Unit to enable ex-
pansion.
Analog Input Units are connected to a CP1L-EL/EM CPU Unit. For CP1L EM-
type CPU Units, a maximum of three Units can be connected, including other
Expansion Units and Expansion I/O Units. For CP1L EL-type CPU Units, a
maximum of one Unit can be connected.
