The High Performance model QCPU permits selection of "Perform internal operation
processing with double precision" or "Do not perform internal operation processing
with double precision".
(a) Settings for internal operation processing with double precision
Make settings in the floating-point operation processing in the PLC system of the
PLC parameter dialog box (Default: Perform internal operation processing with
double precision).
To turn off
"Perform internal
arithmetic
operations in
double precision",
uncheck the
check box.
(b) Operation result
The operation result is single precision regardless of the floating-point operation
processing setting.
In the internal operation processing with double precision, internal operation only
is performed with double precision (64 bits).
The internal operation processing with double precision is not available for the Basic model
QCPU, Process CPU and Redundant CPU.
It is available only for the High Performance model QCPU.
