Introduction
The NTAK09 1.5 Mb DTI/PRI digital trunk card is a standard-size IPE circuit card.
The NTAK09 provides 1.5Mb ISDN primary rate interface and digital trunk interface capability.
The NTAK09 can be equipped with two daughterboards: the NTAK20 clock controller and the
NTAK93/NTBK51 D-channel handler interface.
You can install this card in slots 1 through 4 in the Media Gateway. The card is not supported
in the Media Gateway Expansion. Up to four digital trunk cards are supported in each Media
Gateway.
In North America, the NTAK09 can be replaced by the NTRB21 – TMDI (DTI/PRI/DCH) card,
which is described in

in your area.
Important:
Each Media Gateway that has a digital trunk must have a clock controller clocked to an
external reference clock.
