Dual homing works independently for each half of the dual assembly board. Network traffic
sent and received on one board is not seen by the other.
To connect an MG XPEC for dual homing, each half requires the following:
• 2 ELAN physical connections
• 2 TLAN physical connections
• 1 ELAN IP address
• 3 TLAN IP addresses
Therefore a total of following exists for each MG XPEC card:
• 4 ELAN physical connections
• 4 TLAN physical connections
• 2 ELAN IP address
• 6 TLAN IP addresses
