NT8D14 Universal Trunk card
Note:
Each Media Gateway and Media Gateway Expansion can contain up to four analog trunk
cards.
The NT8D14 Universal Trunk card supports the following trunk types:
• Centralized Automatic Message Accounting (CAMA) trunks
• Central Office (CO), Foreign Exchange (FEX), and Wide Area Telephone Service (WATS)
trunks
• Direct Inward Dial (DID) trunks
• Tie trunks: two-way Loop Dial Repeating (LDR) and two-way loop Outgoing Automatic
Incoming Dial (OAID)
• Recorded Announcement (RAN) trunks
• Paging trunks
The NT8D14 Universal Trunk card also supports Music, Automatic Wake Up, and Direct Inward
System Access (DISA) features.
