You can configure a programmable key as directed pickup key via web user interface only. Relevant
instructions to do that have been mentioned above. You can pick up a call by pressing the directed pickup
key directly.
Group Call Pickup
Group call pickup is used for picking up incoming calls within a pre-defined group. If the group receives many
incoming calls at once, the user will pick up the first incoming call, using a group pickup key or the GPickup soft key.
This feature depends on support from a SIP server. For many SIP servers, group call pickup requires a group
pickup code, which can be configured on a phone.
Procedure
Group call pickup can be configured using the configuration files or locally.

To configure a group call pickup key via web user interface:

Click on DSS Key-> Programmable Key.
•
In the desired DSS key field, select Group Pickup from the Type list.
•
Enter the group call pickup code in the Value field.
•
Click Confirm to save the change.
