• Remove the lock nut 0, brake-lock adjuster A, brake lock
arm B and brake-lock shaft C.
CALIPER INSPECTION
• Inspect the brake fluid leakage from O-ring 1 and cup 2.
• If any damage is found, replace the rear brake caliper with a
new one.
• Inspect the brake caliper cylinder walls and caliper pistons
surface for nicks, scratches and other damage.
• If any damage is found, replace the rear brake caliper with a
new one.
CALIPER REASSEMBLY AND REMOUNTING
• Reassemble and remount the brake caliper in the reverse
order of removal and disassembly.
• Pay attention to the following points:
• Install the new gasket 1.
• Apply THREAD LOCK to the brake-lock housing bolts 2 and
tighten them to the specified torque.
