FRONT FORK SPRING INSPECTION

• Measure the free length of the front fork spring.
• If the length is found shorter than the service limit, replace the
spring.
& Front fork spring free length:
Service limit: 324 mm (12.8 in)
INNER TUBE AND OUTER TUBE INSPEC-
TION
• Inspect the sliding surface of the inner tube, outer tube and
cylinder for scratch, wear, bending, or other abnormal condi-
tion.

CYLINDER INSPECTION

• Inspect the surface of the cylinder for scratch and wear.
• If any defects are found, replace it with a new one.
