• Fit the balancer shaft key 7 into key way.
• When installing the balancer driven gear 8, align the punch
mark C on the balancer drive gear with the punch mark D on
the balancer driven gear.
• Insert a steel rod into the scissors gear through the balancer
driven gear and let the balancer driven gear teeth mesh with
the balancer drive gear teeth.

Make sure that the punch mark E on the balancer
drive gear is aligned with the punch mark F on the
balancer driven gear.
• Install the washer 9 and balancer driven gear nut 0.
• Lock the crankshaft by inserting a steel rod and tighten the
balancer driven gear nut to the specified torque.
# Balancer driven gear nut: 50 N·m (5.0 kgf-m, 36.0 lb-ft)
