Archiver Command-Line Reference
Symbol Encryption:
When using symbol encryption, use the following syntax.
elfar -s [-v] library_file in_library_file exclude_file

Archiver Parameters and Switches

Table 6-2 describes each archiver part of the command. Switches must
appear before the name of the archive file.
