The selections in the output section/segment list includes "None" (for no
overflow) and all output sections. You can pin objects to an output section
by right-clicking the object and choosing Pin to output section.
You can:
• Type a name for the output section in Name.
• Select an output section into which the selected output section will
overflow in Overflow. Or select None for no overflow. This setting
appears in the Placement box.
Before you link the project, the Placement box indicates the out-
put section's address and size as "Not available". After linking is
done, the box displays the output section's actual address and size.
Specify the Packing and Alignment (with Fill Value) properties as needed.
