Installing Fibers
Each optical port of the ZXR10 2920/2928/2952/2936-FI is con-
nected to two fibers: one for receiving and the other for transmis-
sion. They are respectively marked as RX and TX on the panel.
Note not to insert the wrong fibers. Fibers are classified into sin-
gle-mode and multi-mode fibers. You can configure 6 types of
fibers as listed in
Table 10

For fiber layout out of the cabinet, make sure to protect the fibers
against any damages with plastic corrugated protection tubes. Op-
tical fibers inside the protection tube should not entangle with one
another, and they shall be bent into a round shape at the bend-
ing position, if any. The labels at the two ends of the optical fiber
shall be clear and legible. The meanings of the labels shall clearly
