2.4 Typical Example of Dual-system Hot Backup Networking

2.4.1 Typical Networking of Dual-system Hot Backup in Routing Mode

I. Networking Requirement
Networking requirement here is similar to that in
Management Group in Master/Backup Mode"
dual-system hot backup.
II. Networking Diagram
Refer to the
of VRRP Management Group in Master/Backup Mode".
III. Configuration Procedure
For the firewall configuration, refer to the
"Networking of VRRP Management Group in Master/Backup Mode" and configure
HRP as follows:
1)
Configuring SecPath A
# Enable HRP dual-system hot backup.
[SecPath] hrp enable
# Enable HRP real-time backup.
[SecPath] hrp auto-sync
2)
Configuring SecPath B
The configuration on SecPath B is the same as that on SecPath A.

2.4.2 Dual-system Hot Backup Networking in Composite Mode

I. Networking Requirement
Without changing the current network topology, deploy two SecPath F1800-A firewalls
at the egress of the network to connect with both the internal network and the external
network. It is required that the firewall is connected with the switch and works in
Master/Backup mode. Furthermore, SecPath A acts as Master; SecPath B acts as
Backup.
