4.2.7 Enabling or Disabling Sending the Trap Packet

The firewall initiatively sends the Trap packet to NMS to report some emergent
events.
Do as follows in system view.

Enable sending the Trap packet.
Disable sending the Trap packet.

4.2.8 Setting Engine ID for the Local Device

The Engine ID of the local device is a hexadecimal numeric string, whose length
ranges from 10 to 64.
Do as follows in system view.

Set engine ID for the local device.
Restore its default value.
The device information can be an IP address, a MAC address or a self-defined
hexadecimal numeric string.
Note:
After executing the undo snmp-agent local-engineid command, you must delete
the usm-user and re-create one; otherwise, the device will take the engine ID of the
usm-user as its default value.
