6.2.1 Enabling BGP
To enable BGP, local AS number should be specified. After BGP is enabled, local
router listens to BGP connection requests sent by adjacent routers. To make the local
router send BGP connection requests to adjacent routers, refer to the configuration of
the peer command. When BGP is disabled, all BGP connections will break down.
Do as follows in system view.
Table 6-1 Enabling or disabling BGP
Enable BGP and enter BGP view.
Disable BGP.
6.2.2 Entering Extended Address Family View
To apply BGP to the multicast, BGP/MPLS VPN, or MPLS L2VPN application in
Kompella mode, you need enter extended address family view after enabling BGP.
Some commands in BGP view also exist in extended address family view, but they
are only valid to corresponding application.
Do as follows in BGP view.
