Operation Manual - Interface
H3C SecPath F1800-A Firewall
Table 2-2 Configuring static ARP mapping item
Add static ARP mapping item.
Delete static ARP mapping item.
Static ARP mapping item keeps valid all the time when the SecPath F1800-A works
normally; dynamic mapping item keeps valid for 20 minutes.
2.2.4 Setting MTU of the Ethernet Interface
Maximum transmission unit (MTU) will affect the reassembling and fragmentation of
network packets.
Do as follows in Ethernet interface view.
Table 2-3 Setting MTU of the Ethernet interface
Set MTU.
Restore the default MTU value.
2.2.5 Setting Operating Rate of the Ethernet Interface
The FE electrical interface can support 10 Mbit/s and 100 Mbit/s rates.
The FE optical interface can only support 100 Mbit/s rate.
The GE electrical interface can support 10 Mbit/s, 100Mbit/s and 1000 Mbit/s rates.
The GE optical interface can only support 1000 Mbit/s rate.
Therefore, you only need to configure the rate of Ethernet electrical interfaces; you do
not need to configure that of Ethernet optical interfaces.
Do as follows in Ethernet interface view.
Table 2-4 Setting operating rate of an FE or GE interface
Select operating rate of an electrical FE
interface.
Restore the default configuration.
You can set the operating rate of the Ethernet interface forcibly, but the rate should be
the same as that of the interface on the connected network and the peer device.
