Description
ICMP Router
An IP protocol a router can use to advertise the IP addresses of its
Discovery Protocol
router interfaces to directly attached hosts. You can enable or
(IRDP)
disable the protocol, and change the following protocol
parameters:
Forwarding method (broadcast or multicast)
Hold time
Maximum advertisement interval
Minimum advertisement interval
Router preference level
NOTE: You also can enable or disable IRDP and configure the
Maximum BootP
The maximum number of hops away a BootP server can be

Maximum Frame
You can set a maximum frame size of IP packets that are

NOTE: Load sharing is sometimes called Equal Cost Multi Path
Maximum IP load
The maximum number of equal-cost paths across which the
sharing paths
device is allowed to distribute traffic.
Origination of default
You can enable a router to originate default routes for the
routes
following route exchange protocols, on an individual protocol
basis:
RIP
OSPF
BGP4
Default network
The router uses the default network route if the IP route table

does not contain a route to the destination and also does not
contain an explicit default route (0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 or 0.0.0.0/0).
