Note: Entering a New Program will NOT change the Lock Level from its current setting.
2.
e user selects a preprogrammed protocol from a Protocol Library Safety System enabled
pump. In this case, the pump defaults to the Protocol and erases the Lock Level setting.
If a locked-out function is requested, such as PRIME in lock setting 3, a screen will appear request-
ing the entry of the access code. When the correct code is entered, the locked out function can be
performed by the clinician.
Note: In any function outside of the eld to change the Lock Level, entering the clinician access
code will not change the Lock Level setting. Once the pump recognizes the clinician access code, it
authorizes the function to be performed without the need to change the Lock Level setting.
